Printing VIs Programmatically

Use one of the following ways to print VIs programmatically rather than interactively with the dialog boxes that appear when you select File»Print Window and File»Print:

Note  If you print VI documentation from a stand-alone application, you can print only the front panels.

When you print VIs programmatically, LabVIEW uses the printing options for the current VI. For example, if you last printed the VI by selecting File»Print, LabVIEW uses any options you set in the Print dialog box when you print the VI programmatically. If you set Printing properties in the Application class or the VI class, LabVIEW changes the printing options for the current VI and uses the options you set programmatically.
