Initial Value Page (Shared Variable Properties Dialog Box)

In the Shared Variable Properties dialog box, select Initial Value to display this page.

Use this page to set a value for the shared variable when the Shared Variable Engine starts. If a shared variable has an initial value and is connected to a source with a known value, the shared variable value is the value of the source. If the source value is unknown, the shared variable value is the initial value you configure on this page.

Note  You can set an initial value for network-published shared variables only.

This page includes the following components:

• Enable Initial Value—Specifies whether LabVIEW sets an initial value for the shared variable.
• Initial Value—Specifies the initial value for the shared variable.
