Knowing where to view application item tags might make it easier to call these items when you modify menus programmatically. You can use application item tags for run-time menus for VIs or for run-time shortcut menus.
Complete the following steps to view application item tags.
From the front panel window, select Edit»Run-Time Menu to display the Menu Editor dialog box. You also can right-click a control or indicator and select Advanced»Run-Time Shortcut Menu»Edit to display the Shortcut Menu Editor dialog box.
Select Default from the Menu Type pull-down menu.
In the Menu Hierarchy listbox, select the menu item for which you want to view the Item Tag, which appears on the right.
