General Page (My Computer Properties Dialog Box)

In the Project Explorer window, right-click My Computer and select Properties from the shortcut menu to display the My Computer Properties dialog box. Select General from the Category list to display this page.

Use this page to view or edit the IP address for the local computer.

This page includes the following components:

• Name—Specifies the name of the target.
• Address—Specifies the IP address for the local computer. To change the IP address, place a checkmark in the Specify Custom Address checkbox.
• Specify Custom Address—Allows you to enter an IP address in the Address field.
