Simple Put VI

Owning Palette: WebDAV VIs

Requires: Full Development System

Uploads a file or multiple files to a remote WebDAV server or target. You must manually select the polymorphic instance you want to use.

This VI closes the connection to the WebDAV server after LabVIEW uploads the file or files. If you have many files to upload or multiple file operations to complete, consider using the Open Session VI and the Put VI or the Asynchronous Put VI.

Simple Put Buffer

Note Note  This instance uploads the raw binary string contents you specify in data to the file you specify in remote file uri on the WebDAV server.

password is the password for the WebDAV server, if required. For example, when connecting to a real-time target, use the same password as when connecting with NI Web-based Configuration & Monitoring.
username is the username with which to access the WebDAV server, if required. For example, when connecting to a real-time target, use the same username as when connecting with NI Web-based Configuration & Monitoring.
remote file uri specifies the full uniform resource indicator (URI) of the file on the host or the target running the WebDAV server. A URI can be a uniform resource locator (URL), a uniform resource name (URN), or both. remote file uri also specifies the port and whether to use Transport Layer Security (TLS), formerly known as Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Format remote file uri as http[s]://hostname[:port][/files][/directory/subdirectory]/filename. Use https to connect using TLS/SSL, which provides added security. Use http to specify a non-TLS/SSL connection. If you do not specify a port number, the default is to use 80 for non-TLS/SSL and 443 for TLS/SSL.
data specifies the contents of the file in raw binary data format.
error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.

Note Note  This instance uploads the file you specify in remote file uri to the WebDAV server.

Simple Put Multiple Buffers

Note Note  This instance uploads the raw binary contents of multiple files. This instance attempts to use the same connection for the entire set of uploads. This instance also attempts to upload all files you specify, even if LabVIEW encounters an error while uploading one of them. error out returns an error if any upload fails, but all files that LabVIEW successfully uploads still appear on the server.
