Opens a new and unique reference to a source control project that you can use with the Source Control VIs.

The VI uses the configuration settings from the current source control provider to generate the reference. If you wire a LabVIEW project reference to Project Refnum, this VI generates a reference to the source control project you specify for the LabVIEW project.

	project refnum is a reference to a LabVIEW project. If you wire this input, this VI uses the source control configuration settings from the LabVIEW project instead of the settings you configured for the LabVIEW environment on the Source Control page of the Options dialog box. If the LabVIEW project is configured not to use source control, has a conflict with the current SCC provider, or is configured incorrectly, this VI returns an error and does not create a source control reference.
	error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
	source control reference out contains a new and unique reference to the source control project configured in LabVIEW. Wire this output to the source control reference in input of the Source Control VIs.
	status message returns provider-specific information about the source control operation. Depending on the source control provider, the output might include status information or non-critical error messages.
	error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
