Select View�Alarms and Events to display or hide the Alarms and Events view. The NI Distributed System Manager supports only one Alarms and Events view.
Use the Alarms and Events view to monitor and acknowledge alarms and events. You can view alarms and events of other processes by using the Select Processes dialog box. By default, the Alarms and Events view displays alarms and events of systems in My Systems. You can add a system to My Systems to access systems that do not appear in the system tree pane.
Note You must have the LabVIEW Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Module installed to monitor and acknowledge alarms.
This view includes the following components:
Select Processes—Displays the Select Processes dialog box, which you use to select multiple processes from the system tree pane. The Alarms and Events view then displays alarms and events that these processes generate.
Show Alarms—Specifies whether to display alarms in the Alarms and Events view. By default, this checkbox contains a checkmark.
Show Events—Specifies whether to display events in the Alarms and Events view. By default, this checkbox contains a checkmark.
Acknowledge—Displays the Acknowledge Selected Alarms and Events dialog box, which you use to acknowledge alarms and events you select in the Alarms and Events view.
Acknowledge All—Displays the Acknowledge All Alarms and Events dialog box, which you use to acknowledge all alarms and events in the Alarms and Events view.
Filter—Displays the Filter Options dialog box, which you use to display alarms and events that meet certain criteria.
Columns—Displays the Show Columns dialog box, which you use to show or hide columns in the Alarms and Events view.
