Owning Palette: Other Functions PtByPt VIs
Requires: Full Development System
Searches for the maximum and minimum values in the set of input data points specified by sample length where the region of interest is determined by the last sample length data. The indexes are between 0 and sample length.
This VI is similar to the Array Max & Min function.
Note By default, reentrant execution is enabled in all Point By Point VIs. |

initialize, when TRUE, initializes the internal state of the VI.
input data point is an input data point.
sample length is the length of each set of incoming data. The VI performs computation for each set of data. The default is 100. When you set sample length to zero, the VI calculates a cumulative solution for the input data from the time that you called or initialized the VI. When the sample length setting is greater than zero, the VI calculates the solution for only the newest set of input data.
max index is the index for the first max value. It is 0 max index < sample length.
max value is the maximum value contained in the set of input data points specified by sample length.
min index is the index for the first min value. It is 0 min index < sample length.
min value is the minimum value contained in the set of input data points specified by sample length.
error returns any error or warning from the VI. You can wire error to the Error Cluster From Error Code VI to convert the error code or warning into an error cluster. |
