Computes an estimation of the AC and DC levels of the input signal.
This VI is similar to the AC & DC Estimator VI.

initialize, when TRUE, initializes the internal state of the VI. |

signal specifies the input time-domain signal, usually in volts. |

sample length is the length of each set of incoming data. The VI performs computation on each set of data. The default is 100. sample length must be greater than 0. |

AC estimate returns the estimate of the input signal AC level in volts rms when the input Signal is in volts. |

DC estimate returns the estimate of the input signal DC level in volts if the input Signal is in volts. |

error returns any error or warning from the VI. You can wire error to the Error Cluster From Error Code VI to convert the error code or warning into an error cluster. |
The AC & DC Estimator PtByPt VI routine performs spectral analysis to the extent that it separates DC, bin 0, from AC, the rms sum of the rest of the bins.
