Lead/Lag

You can use the PID Lead-Lag VI to implement a PID controller with a lead/lag function. The VI uses a positional algorithm that approximates a true exponential lead/lag. Feedforward control schemes often use this kind of algorithm as a dynamic compensator.

The output value on the first call to the VI is the same as the input value.
