Returns the operating mode of the NI Scan Engine on the target.

	target address specifies the IP address or DNS name of the target.
	error in describes error conditions that occur before this node runs. This input provides standard error in functionality.
	mode returns the operating mode of the NI Scan Engine. 0 Initialization Mode—Occurs only briefly during startup. 1 Configuration Mode—The required mode when configuring scan engine settings. 2 Active Mode—The mode in which the scan engine runs and updates values. 3 Fault Mode—The mode triggered when a major or unrecoverable fault occurs.
	error out contains error information. This output provides standard error out functionality.
