Right-click a string constant, control, or indicator and select Update Value while Typing from the shortcut menu to update the value of a control as the user enters characters instead of waiting until the user presses the <Enter> key or otherwise ends text entry. Use this option to check the correctness of the input or to give user feedback.
You also can use the Update While Typing? property to update the value programmatically.
