Setting Revision History Options for the Current VI

The Revision History page of the VI Properties dialog box and the Revision History page of the Options dialog box contain similar options. Use the VI Properties dialog box to set options for the current VI. Use the Revision History page of the Options dialog box to set options for all new VIs.

Complete the following steps to revise the information that appears in the History window for the current VI.

1. Select File»VI Properties to display the VI Properties dialog box.
2. Select Revision History from the Category pull-down menu.
3. Remove the checkmark in the Use the default history settings from the Options dialog box checkbox to override the options on the Revision History page of the Options dialog box.
4. Select the appropriate history options.
