Resetting the VI Revision History and Revision Number

Complete the following steps to reset the VI revision history and revision number.

  1. Select Edit»VI Revision History to display the History window.
  2. Click the Reset button. The Reset button is dimmed if the VI has no revision history.
  3. In the dialog box that appears, click the OK button to erase the VI revision history and reset the revision number.
Note Note  To erase the VI revision history without resetting the revision number, remove the checkmark from the Also reset revision number checkbox.

You also can use the Clear History method to clear the revision history of a VI programmatically.
