Requires: Application Builder or Professional System (NI Linux Real-Time, Windows)
Use this page of the Package Properties dialog box to add your package to a feed, so that your clients can subscribe to the feed to receive update notifications and install the package from NI Package Manager or NI SystemLink via network access.
This page includes the following components:
Add to feed—Adds the package to a local feed. Your clients use NI Package Manager to subscribe to the feed to find and install packages.
(Windows)Include all dependencies in feed—Specifies whether to add all dependencies of the package or only the package to the feed.
Feed location—Specifies the location to save the feed. If the location contains an existing feed, LabVIEW adds the package to the existing feed.
(Windows)Append package version to feed location—Specifies whether to include the package version in the feed. LabVIEW appends a subfolder with the package version to Feed location.
Publish to SystemLink feed—Publishes the package you created in LabVIEW to a feed on the SystemLink server. Your clients can find and install the package in SystemLink.
(Windows)Include all dependencies in SystemLink feed—Specifies whether to publish all dependencies of the package or only the package to the SystemLink feed.
Hostname—Specifies the hostname of the SystemLink server, in the following format: http[s]://<hostname or IP address>[:port].
Test Connection Status—Checks whether the SystemLink server is accessible.
Username—Specifies the username you use to access the SystemLink server.
Password—Specifies the password you use to access the SystemLink server.
Feed name—Specifies the name of the feed to display in SystemLink. If the feed name you specify already exists on the SystemLink server, LabVIEW publishes the packages to the existing feed. If the feed name you specify does not exist, LabVIEW creates a new feed on the SystemLink server.
Feed description—Specifies a description for the feed. The feed description displays in SystemLink.
Note If you choose to include custom license agreement on the Package page, LabVIEW also adds an end-user license agreements (EULAs) package to the feed.
