Service Settings Page (Web Service Properties Dialog Box)

Note In LabVIEW 2013, you no longer configure Web services via build specifications. You can continue to use this build specification, or you can convert the build specification to the new format. To download the conversion tool, visit the National Instruments website.
Use this page of the Web Service Properties dialog box to publish a Web service as a standalone service, setup service aliases, and display a default page for static folders in a Web service.
This page includes the following components:
Deploy as standalone Web Service—Publishes the Web service as a standalone service on the LabVIEW Web Server.
Serve default index.html for static document folders—Configures the Web service to load index.html when the Web service calls a static document folder without a specific filename.
Service aliases—Defines alternate names for the value specified in the Service name text box on the Information page. Use service aliases to customize the URL that Web clients use to access the Web service.
Alias—Specifies the name of the new service alias.
