Owning Palette: Windows VIs
Requires: Full Development System
Applies an asymmetrical Dolph-Chebyshev window to the input sequence X. Wire data to the X input to determine the polymorphic instance to use or manually select the instance.
Use the pull-down menu to select an instance of this VI.

X is a real vector. | |
lobe ratio (dB) is the ratio of the mainlobe to the sidelobe in dB. The default is 60.
Windowed X is the input signal with the window applied.
error returns any error or warning from the VI. You can wire error to the Error Cluster From Error Code VI to convert the error code or warning into an error cluster. |
X is the complex valued input sequence.
lobe ratio (dB) is the ratio of the mainlobe to the sidelobe in dB. The default is 60.
Windowed X is the input signal with the window applied.

If y represents the output sequence Windowed X, the Chebyshev Window VI obtains the elements of y using the following equation:
for i = 0, 1, … , n–1
where n is the number of elements in X,
s is the height ratio of the mainlobe to the sidelobe in dB,
is the m-th order Chebyshev polynomial,
.
Refer to the Window Comparison VI in the labview\examples\Signal Processing\Windows directory for an example of using the Chebyshev Window VI.
